Locks keep honest people out of houses.
Regulations keep honest companies liable.
Cuadrilla and Lord Browne have proven themselves to be dishonest.

I'm not sure how criticising lack of regulatory enforcement becomes a talk about energy outages as some means of justification for dumping toxic waste.
Irrelevant correlations between shale gas and brownouts. Maybe the next time someone dies from lack of power you can talk about how horrible wind turbines, solar panels and tidal barrages look.
If we don't want power outages we need to be putting a massive investment in renewables.
Personally I am far more troubled by the amount of legal and illegal dumping of toxic waste from fracking on roads, fields, canals and rivers.

In America they sprayed the waste on to roads and fields. Legally and illegally.
