This is a quick video to show a basic problem when drilling through rock. I use space engineers to create a very simple drill rig and show some of the issues. Feel free to add anything constructive about how to improve the educational aspect of this. It is meant as a counter narrative to the perfectly clean drilling you see in promotional animations such as from cuadrilla. Feel free to use this for educational purposes.
